Touchstone Naturopathic Centre opened in April 2000, offering naturopathic treatments to people living or working in Mississauga, Oakville and surrounding areas. One of the founding principles in the Centre's mission was to provide a new standard of care, integrating naturopathic medicine with mainstream health care. We have also formed alliances with other complementary health care practitioners, to help our patients receive the services they would truly benefit from.

In 2005, Touchsone Naturopathic Centre is growing to offer a broader set of services - under one roof!. The information on this site will introduce you to the family of practitioners that have come together at the Centre. Integrated care is considered to be the new model of health care delivery in the modern era. Patients benefit by receiving quick, easy access to a variety of services where the practitioners function as a team - not independents. Our team or family is committed to offering high quality services that help our clients to receive Whole Person, Whole System health care. Each service is recommended based on the need of each patient, not in a systematic approach. You are free to select and combine any (or all) of the services that the Centre provides.

Naturopathic Doctors (N.D's) are trained as general practitioners. At Touchstone, we give patients a bridge between mainstream health care and complementary healing methods in treating acute or chronic conditions. Your path to wellness will include:

1. Thorough assessment from health history, laboratory tests and naturopathic assessment tools.
2. Balancing physical, mental and/or spiritual health through natural treatments that stimulate your inherent self-healing process - the Vis Medicatrix Naturae.
3. Education about the options you should consider, plus potential risks or side effects. Seminars and/or reading of recommended books will compliment your learning, empowering you to optimize your health and prevent illness through lifestyle changes.
4. Scientific review of naturopathic treatment does exist, showing the effectiveness and safety if offers.

Friday
8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Every other Saturday
9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Naturopathic sevices can be reimbursed by most Extended Health Care plans or can be claimed as a medical expense deduction on income taxes.
